The Last Night: Zomie Attack · build 22149895 · published
Total Engine Migration: Rebuilt from the ground up for better stability and modern hardware support.
Dynamic Lighting System: Notice the warm orange glows against the cold stone walls. The new engine handles light bounce and shadows much more realistically.
Horde Optimization: We can now render significantly more zombies on screen (check out Level 6!) without your PC breaking a sweat.
Every level has been ported to the new engine and polished for a gritier look:
Level 1: The Dark Cells – Tight corners and low visibility. Watch your back.
Level 2: The Warden's Watch – Improved line-of-sight for tactical retreats.
Level 3: Stone-Cold Corridors – High-resolution stone textures and improved collision.
Level 4: The Echoing Chaimber – Audio overhaul to make every footstep count.
Level 5: The Abandoned Maze – Redesigned pathfinding to keep the undead on your tail.
Level 6: The Mystery Vault – Prepare for the massive horde. The new engine's stress test level.
Level 7: [REDACTED] – Currently Under Progress. We’re building something special here.
Visual Uniformity: All levels now share a cohesive, dark, and damp dungeon aesthetic.
Improved Zombie AI: The undead now navigate the "Stone-Cold Corridors" and the "Abandoned Maze" with much more aggression.
Clean HUD: A minimalist interface so you can focus on the stone walls and the blood on them.

Layout
New Layout designs for the maps including new fog effects and moving exits to confuse the player and make the game interesting.
AI
Zombies now use "horde logic"—they’ll try to surround you and kill you. The next addition to this game update is the zombies are now 3x faster then the old zombies.
Audio
Fully spatialized 3D audio. Hear exactly where that moan is coming from.
Systems
Replaced the old save system with a more reliable cloud-sync version.
Options menu- unfortunately due to our big deadline the options menu doesnt work fully yet as its still under development, hopefully in the next update the options menu should be fixed and working.
Dev Note: We know it’s been a long wait, but switching engines was the only way to make The Last Night Zombie Attack work exactly how we wanted it without any issues, our whole dev team deserves to be proud as our new update is for all to play and enjoy. Thank you for sticking with us through the transition! and hope you like the other updates and new entities coming very soon.
