Magitek VR – Version 0.11.17 Patch Notes
We're back with a fresh update—and fully back in development mode! 🎉
This build adds new abilities for both Single Player and Multiplayer, early previews of upcoming Story Mode content, and a range of fixes and improvements. We’re also aiming to have the full Air Chapter ready in time for Christmas (or shortly after).
As always, everything here is still evolving—your feedback will help shape the final versions.
New Abiltiies
- Wind Boost - give a quick boost in any direction, use for fast and short mobility
- Air Shield - A small shield that is held, can deflect AI enemy projectiles. In multiplayer this just acts as a shield.
- Ice sword - A close range weapon with slash damage, so it can cut apart tek bots.
- Frost walker v2 - Surt on a board of ice on the ground and in the air, combos great with ice sword.
Earth Look at Air Chapter
- Three new air tek bots that you can try out in the sandbox, these are still early in development but they are ready enough to fight.
- Checkpoints - you can see this in action in Earth Dungeon 3
Multiplayer
- New skins - hot pink and the Australian summer collection
General
- Some improvements to gesture detection
Bug Fixes
- Fixed the perma freeze bug, where players were permanently frozen in multiplayer
- Reworked the earth weight system to fix various interaction bugs with fortify
- Fixed bug with air shuriken casting gesture, where it would change depending on the direction you where looking.
- Story mode island map now uses two separate maps
- Fixed a bug where ice lance would have very aggressive auto aim
