Background and Sprite Update

While we’re actively working on the continuation of the story, we’re not forgetting about the base game. Today, we’re releasing a small but important update.

✨ What’s changed:

Improved backgrounds
— We’ve reworked and updated several backgrounds. They now look sharper, cleaner, and more pleasant.

Visible signs of violence and slaps
— Max now has bruises after being beaten.
— Lyosha gets a slap mark from Lida if that choice was made.
— If Max gets splashed with hot chocolate — the stain remains on his sprite.

New items in the protagonist’s hands
— In specific scenes, Lida now holds a cup of hot chocolate and an energy drink can.

Animated party background
— To better match the vibe of our favorite track, the party background is now animated.

Cosmetic fixes
— As usual, we’ve fixed bugs in the code and text. Dialogue lines should no longer overflow the text box. (If they do — let us know!)
