Hello knights!

We've been busy gearing up to show our game at an expo called DreamHack Dallas, which is from May 23rd to the 25th. This had us doing a lot of work for the game that wasn't directly working on the game (if that makes sense), BUT we've slowly been improving some small things here and there.

Below are the fixes and changes that we implemented on this latest update.

Fixes:

  • Enemy added to Forest stage (was missing from the last big update)
  • Camera boundary art issue fixed for Dungeon Stage
  • Fixed enemies surviving after boss battle in the Cemetery stage
  • Fixed Goblin Boss Stalactite attack going off during ending cinematic when attack was started before defeat
  • Fixed issue where the Jump skill would sometimes be triggered when jumping from a grind
  • Sound effect connected to Great sword removed (was super loud)

General Game Updates:

  • The UI now turns off during cinematics for a better viewing experience
  • Traps in the Dungeon stage now instantly kill enemies
  • Made harder enemies drop more gold and easier enemies drop less gold
  • Cost of level 1, level 2, and level 3 weapons lowered to get players better equipment earlier in their playthrough
  • Added “Pause Timer” drift pads during races
  • Added 2 new types of challenges that can appear in each stage
  • Added a progress bar and a skip button to the tutorial video
  • Added dust particles to drifts

We plan on implementing some some Quality of Life updates soon as well, such as improving the audio and video options panel a bit, but I'll wait until it's ready to go into details about all that.

Feel free to reach out if you experience any issues so we can try to resolve them and we would very much appreciate any feedback/reviews you can muster! I know time is precious, but it really does help the visibility of little games like ours on Steam, but of course, it's ultimately your choice.

Thank you for sticking with us, playing our game, and we hope your having fun with it!

Alright, that’s all for now. Until next time!
