As always, you can choose your language from the title menu.

Thank you very much to everyone who helped make this translation possible! Free Will was inspired by a number of Japanese role-playing games, so this translation means a lot to us.
The only translations we had in mind were Chinese and Japanese due to the team’s connections and capabilities. However, if you are interested in translating Free Will into another language, please reach out to us.
Update announcements going forward will be released in English only. Translation work takes time, and if there are small bugs or fixes that we can address, we want those fixes to go out as soon as possible.
This excludes language-specific updates, or announcements where a specific language’s translation makes sense, in which case updates will be made in both English and the language in question.
Unfortunately, our team is quite small, and it's already been difficult to account for translating updates into Chinese. As this issue will only increase if more languages are added to the game, this is the best way we could think of to address this going forward.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
The game’s director, producer/lead artist, and lead audio designer/composer will be traveling to Tokyo, Japan, to table at Tokyo Indie Games Summit 2025 in March. If you are attending the event, look out for our table! (More details to come as the event draws closer.)
We plan to sell acrylic keychains of Will, Wendy, and Kipps and a physical CD of the game’s soundtrack at the event. This will be the first time these items have ever been made available. Stop by for some Free Will TIGS 2025 memorabilia, or if you’d like to help us recuperate the cost of our plane tickets and hotel fees!
Once again, on behalf of the team, thank you all for your support!
Note: Players who update the game may encounter a bug where all text fields will state something like "No translation found for ....". This can be fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling the game.
