Dear Players,

Soon, I’ll be applying for Steam approval for an Early Access release. At this stage, it’s hard to say exactly when the release will happen. The plan is to release Episode 2 in its entirety. Currently, about 60–70% of it is ready and will be released on Patreon. With the version I have now, I’ll apply for approval, and hopefully, while the review process is ongoing, I’ll be able to complete the remaining content before release. I’ll also need to reserve some time for promotion, such as allowing curators enough time to prepare their reviews.

There is still some polishing work left to do.

First, the very first scene in the game (which is also part of the demo) requires revision. It was created at the very beginning of AI video models, and it doesn’t look as good compared to newer scenes. Some other scenes, especially in the Prologue, will also receive visual revisions.

The non-movie mode will either be removed or significantly simplified. I don’t really see a strong reason to keep it in its current form. More importantly, it takes a lot of time to test, and being forced to click for every single line can be annoying. While this is normal in traditional visual novels, in our case players often need to click twice just to skip a line or dialogue. One way or another, this needs to be addressed.

If everything goes smoothly, the game could be ready for Early Access sometime in February or March. This is only a preliminary estimate. If the review process brings any surprises, delays are possible, but for now there’s no indication that this will happen.
