Happy Halloween, Class-D and Foundation personnel alike! 👻

The lights are flickering in the lower wings, containment doors are creaking open, and something new has slipped into the facility…

While our upcoming 1.3R update isn’t out just yet, we’re thrilled to share a taste of what’s coming. This version is the largest overhaul we’ve ever done, and we’ve been tearing apart old systems and rebuilding the entire game for improved performance, new mechanics, and deeper chaos. You can catch early glimpses of the rework in our Discord’s #teasers channel.

But for now, let’s talk about the new anomalies joining the breach...

🌀 Playable SCPs

🧶SCP-066: "Eric’s Revenge"

A mass of tangled yarn that hums, squeals, and screams "Eric!" whenever it’s disturbed. Once a harmless curiosity, SCP-066 has grown erratic and aggressive. Its melodies now distort electronics and shatter nerves. In 1.3R, you’ll become the chaos: unleash disorienting audio attacks and manipulate sound itself to drive enemies into madness.

🔥 SCP-457: "The Burning Man"

A living inferno that feeds on oxygen, fuel, and fear. SCP-457 thrives in the dark corners of the site, growing stronger as it consumes its victims. As a playable SCP, you’ll spread flame through ventilation shafts and corridors, but beware: your fire burns brightest when you’re not alone.

🌀 Other SCPs Entering Containment

🧢 SCP-268: "The Camouflage Cap"

An ordinary tweed flat cap that grants its wearer near-complete invisibility. Just don’t think you’re safe, because the Foundation cameras still see the shadows.

🎶 SCP-407: "The Song of Genesis"

An anomalous audio recording capable of accelerating biological growth and decay. Exposure to even a few seconds transforms living tissue in unpredictable, horrifying ways. Foundation researchers have tried to study it… few have lived to finish the experiment. Expect environmental effects, unpredictable mutations, and haunting echoes across containment.

📜 New Roles Deployed

The breach has drawn the attention of more than just the Foundation. New factions are entering the field, each with their own motives, orders, and methods of "containment."

🪖 NU-7 "Hammer Down"

Foundation’s elite military response unit, trained to recontain even the most dangerous anomalies. Expect advanced equipment, heavy firepower, and a strict "shoot to suppress" policy. When NU-7 is deployed, the chaos is about to end: one way or another.

🌐 GOC "Global Occult Coalition"

"Protect humanity, exterminate the anomalous." The GOC’s presence around Site-██ is no coincidence. These soldiers believe the Foundation’s containment methods are too lenient. Their goal: neutralize SCPs. Permanently.

🐍 Serpent’s Hand

Where there’s secrecy, there’s resistance. The Serpent’s Hand operates from the shadows, aiding SCPs and anomalies in their escape from the Foundation’s grasp. Don’t underestimate them — they might just turn your enemy into an ally.

💾 Server Hosts Wanted!

We’re also expanding the official Breach Server Network!

If you’d like to help keep the chaos spreading, consider hosting your own SCP: CBM server. You can:

Set up a VPS and run the server there (Guides on how to do this can be found online, in the Steam "Guides" section for this game, or you can always hit us up for questions on our official Discord server)

Or host via a shared provider (like ZAP-Hosting, etc.)
