To our trucking legends both new and long time, here’s what you’ve been waiting for; a content roadmap for the future of Alaskan Road Truckers.
We heard your calls for this. It’s taken far longer than we wanted or even expected to lock the next phase of development, but we’re delighted to share it with you today. Going forward, all new content will be solely funded and released by Green Man Gaming Publishing. But enough about that, you came here to read about the future!
Today, we’re revealing Roadmap 1, featuring a mix of cosmetics, quality of life (QoL) updates and a larger content drop. While the majority of content will be premium content, we will also add free stuff for the whole community. We hope this can set the tone for future roadmaps in terms of content and cadence.
We’ll update the roadmap with the full details and timings of our larger content drop, Showrunner, in February. For now, we aren’t ready to reveal more than this tease, but for those of you who love movies and driving large trucks, we think you’ll be happy. Today we can reveal that on December 19th, we will launch the next paid cosmetic pack, Truck Skin Pack 2, containing 7 premium skins with 9 colour variants alongside 1 free skin with 3 colour variants for all players. We will also launch our PC demo, which features a two-hour play limit.
We believe this is the start of a new and exciting phase of Alaskan Road Trucker’s life, and we are calling on our community to clap, cheer and honk your horns in support.
Patch 1.6 Notes:
- Resolved all known instances of snow and trees flickering across the entire map.
- Significantly reduced the size of the save file.
- Optimized parts of the main map and the Ice Roads for less memory usage.
- Added 3 new Camo skins.
- Fixed a glitch which caused default customization elements removed by the player to reappear upon loading a game.
