With the new mid-season update approaching, we've prepared some new content, hoping to bring you a richer combat experience.
In the last update, we introduced a mechanic where Rune Stones randomly drop from level challenges. Perhaps many players have noticed that while you're getting more Rune Stones, the available space for placement feels a bit tight.
This time, we've optimized the Rune Array system, adding various new Arrays with different styles. Each has unique rules, helping you maximize your potential within the limited grid.
[Condensation Array]
Reduces the number of refreshes in Boss Levels in exchange for higher Runic Energy points. Suitable for players who pursue efficiency and want to accumulate resources quickly.
[Anchor Array]
Increases challenge difficulty while providing extra rewards—the Rune Array starts with a fixed high-value Runic Energy. You need to plan your layout reasonably and make good use of this Initial bonus.
[Dualism Array]
Sets two corresponding positions on the Rune Array. When the Rune Stone in the primary slot gains points, the Rune Stone in the secondary slot also gains a certain amount of points. We hope this optimizes the difficulty of building multi-core builds.
[Elemental Pulses - Elemental Pulses Core]
The long-absent Elemental Pulses returns to the battlefield. Paired with various elemental effects, it brings a satisfying visual experience.
[General - Arcane Box]
The Arcane Box is also making a comeback. As the only Rune Stone with a cap of 99 points, it brings more possibilities, along with additional enhancement effects waiting for you to discover.
[Weapon - Weakening Bullet]
Do you like slow, easy-to-target monsters? Then try this Rune Stone. It causes enemies you hit to suffer a slow effect, and it can spread to other enemies after a kill, keeping the battle under your control.
In this update, we have also added new routes in [Silent Crypt] and [Twilight Grove].
All the above content will be officially launched in the update on April 24. Meanwhile, Season 8 is progressing steadily. We will announce more information gradually, so stay tuned!
