Hiya! Some sad, but also good news.

I had been working on the sepapu workshop update, but there was too much life happening, so I could never get any concentrated work in.

sepapu is a carefully crafted experience, and so adding in workshop isn't simply a matter of slapping in a new feature, it basically means creating a whole new canvas. This work requires a lot intimacy and tenderness and thinking, and there is simply too many other things happening in my life to allow for this.

Having the update in the back of my head constantly, even though I wasn't able to fully commit to progress properly was affecting my presence and attention in other situations, and so I have decided to shelve it for the foreseeable future.

sepapu is already in a state I am happy with, even though it's got some rough edges. I hope to return to fully do the update at some future point, but for now I need to lay it down to focus completely on other things. Thanks for playing, and if you were looking forward to this update, I apologize. If you want to keep up to date with what I am working on, you can join the discord https://discord.gg/v7q2ZtTAVGOtherwise, good luck with your life, and I will do my best with mine!

I will not rush this, and sepapu is not the kind of game where extra features are just slapped on. It needs to be a holistic experience. But progress is being made, and at some point you'll be able to creat…Community18 Aug 2026Thank you!The first major milestone I set for myself, just hit! And that was to get 10 reviews so that sepapu gets a score! As it turns out, they are all saying nice (and constructive) things! After sepapu launched, it was like a burden of my shoulders. This project had been on my mind for a significant time, and I am overjoyed that is is available to players and that people I have never met have played…Steam news1 Jul 2026sepapu is here!About 4 years ago, I made a little prototype of a puzzle, based on set packing problems like the 8 Queen Puzzle. Over time, the tech I used to build it evolved. It changed from SDL2 to SDL3, and I learned more about game programming and design from working professionally on games. This game, sepapu, is a 4 year, slow cooking side project, that at the end, became my main focus. I put a lot of he…
