Hey there everyone! We’ve been working on quite a few big Bait & Tackle features, but in the meantime we’ve addressed some small bugs that have popped up! We’ve fixed some onboarding and tutorial bugs, clarified some in-game text, and fixed a pesky Swordfish issue that has caught some players by surprise!
Fishdex
> Fixed an issue that caused the pulsing of the Fishdex tutorial textboxes to be paused when starting a second new game in the same session as a previous new game.
> Clarified that the player must click on a bait to equip it in the Fishdex tutorial.
Map
> Fixed an issue that caused the animation of the red map lines to be paused when starting a second new game in the same session as a previous new game.
> The initial “M” key prompt now disappears when the map is opened for the first time, not whenever the key is pressed. This fixes an issue where it was possible to remove the prompt prior to opening the map.
Bosses
> Fixed an issue causing Mini Minnow to glow slightly during the Fish ‘Em tutorial.
> Fixed an issue causing the Swordfish bosses to sometimes shoot their Air Slashes behind them if the player was close to the center of the boss.
Levels
> Fixed an issue causing the player to stand atop the water in the Oil Rig instead of slightly sinking into it.
Text
> The "Quit" button in the pause menu now says "Quit Game".
> The newspaper segments now specify clicking left-click to continue.
