Lifeline Work and Living Cost Options, Plus Journal and Chart Improvements
Hello, traders!
This update brings more choices to Lifeline: adjust your living costs before starting, or take on work to supplement your trading income. We have also added completeness indicators to the Companion journal and improved the equity curve and line chart displays.
Lifeline: More Ways to Make Ends Meet
- New Work action: Select “Work” in the right operations panel to advance 24 in-game hours and earn 100 upon completion. Markets, trading, and living expenses continue during work, so plan your positions and cash accordingly.
- Adjust living costs before starting: Choose whether to have breakfast and select a monthly rent of 300, 350, 400, 450, or 500. The default rent is 450. Your breakfast and rent choices remain fixed for the run.
- Work income in the results screen: Work income is listed separately and excluded from net trading P&L, giving you a clearer breakdown of your earnings.
Companion Journal: Spot Incomplete Records at a Glance
- New completeness icons in the journal list help you find trade records that still need attention.
- The check covers instrument, P&L, entry screenshot, and exit screenshot. Hover over a journal entry to see which details are missing.
- The status updates as you complete or edit a record, making trade reviews easier to organize.
Equity Curve: See the Full Run
- The equity curve in the balance panel now spans the entire run, from its start to the current moment, making it easier to review your account’s progress.
- The curve is reconstructed from historical trades and unrealized P&L, and also accounts for living expense payments and work income in Lifeline.
Line Charts: Clearer Price Direction
- Price line segments now use your chart’s bullish and bearish colors according to the change between consecutive closing prices.
- Dots and highlights use matching colors for a consistent display across historical and live charts.
Thank you for your feedback and support. Good luck with your trades—and with making it through the year in Lifeline!
