This time, Fog'n'Silence is taking part in Party-Based RPG Fest 2026! We promise, this is the last one for a while! (:
As you’ve probably already noticed from the trailer and screenshots, you start Fog'n'Silence by putting together an initial party of three characters. But as you explore the world, you can encounter other characters who may decide to join you!
Each character has their own stats and attributes, several unique passive abilities that shape their gameplay, and their own story, including personal quests that become available while they’re part of your party.
And, perhaps just as importantly, every new character means another pair of hands to carry and use equipment, weapons, and all the other stuff you’ll inevitably end up hauling around.
In addition to full-fledged party members, we’re currently working on another type of unit that we call “secondary units.”
These can take the form of pack animals, robots, summons, familiars and similar companions. They can become part of your group and are fully controllable, but their functionality is usually limited to a specific specialization.
For example, take this BigDoggo from the concept above. It’s perfectly suited for carrying heavy loads, but pretty much helpless in combat.
