A first version of the progression system is now in Kill Your Friends!
You can now earn money by playing full matches and spend it on lootboxes containing cosmetics.

Complete a full match of 15 rounds to earn in-game money. The better you play, the more you can work towards unlocking new cosmetics.
🎁 Buy lootboxes
Use the money you earn in matches to purchase lootboxes and expand your cosmetic collection.
👕 More ways to unlock cosmetics are coming
The lootbox system is only one part of the planned progression. The full game will have additional ways to earn and unlock cosmetics outside of lootboxes.
🚫 No real-money purchases
There will be no RMT (real-money transactions) for cosmetics. Everything in the progression system is earned by playing the game.
This is still a preliminary version of the system, so expect changes and improvements as development continues. More cosmetics and progression features will be added as we get closer to release!
