New

  • Twelve gear slots instead of six: helm, chest, shoulder, pants, gloves, bracers, belt and boots, plus weapon, off hand, ring and necklace. Each piece weighs half as much, so a full set is worth the same and the collection grows piece by piece. The amulet became the necklace.
  • Armor has a type, weapons have an owner. Mage and Oracle wear cloth, the Bulwark wears mail. Weapon and off hand are bound to the class. Ring and necklace stay free. What drops and doesn't fit you is worth trading.
  • The Oracle wields with both hands, so his weapon counts double: three pieces paying for four.
  • Items have a face. No more three-letter tags: every piece is drawn over its own rarity background.
  • Loot drops on the ground with the item's own art and a beam in its rarity color. Everyone sees everyone's drop, but only the owner picks up their own.
  • Mail chest in town: whatever you left behind waits there, and the chest blinks when something of yours is inside.
  • Picking the stage shows what awaits you: T1 and T2 stacked, each with a slice of its own map and the boss bust up.
  • Six weapons got new art, and the game now speaks 29 languages.

Improved

  • The horde swaps creatures instead of fattening up. Every monster has its own name and strength, and the run tightens because another creature walks in, not because the same one got five times tougher with the same face.
  • The colossus stopped shrinking in T2. It was worth almost 8 times a common monster in T1 and under 2 in T2; now it is worth 12 in any tier, and at most three walk the arena.
  • Elites doubled and the boss guarantees: elites went from one piece every twenty to one every ten, and the boss guarantees a piece per player, with a 30% chance of a second.
  • Refusals arrive before the gesture: gear your hero cannot wear shows a lock and the reason.
  • The Forge calls you when there is something to fuse, and items show before and after side by side.
  • The King's sword hits where it sweeps, and the Dome leap fades into the sky instead of stretching the screen.

Fixed

  • Animations stopped flickering.
  • The Forge fuses on hold, as promised.
  • Loot belongs to the run you just played.
  • The tutorial speaks next to what it points at.
