Our first playtest is now live!
A huge thank you to everyone joining us for this early step in the journey of Champions Stable: Equestrian Dynasty.
This Closed Pre-Alpha is focused on testing core systems and helping us understand how the experience feels in players’ hands.
We want to share some context for the upcoming closed playtest:
The main goal of this first playtest is to collect feedback from people who know and love horses, horse racing, and the equestrian world.
The game is still in pre-alpha, so we want to be very transparent about what is currently playable, what is still rough, and what is not final yet.
At this stage, we are especially focusing on the racing experience. We want to understand if the races feel exciting, but also if they feel believable and respectful of real horse racing. We are currently working on several improvements, including an additional sprint mechanic, wind influence, more accurate racing equipment, correct horse breeds, and more faithful race-related details.
In a month, we’ll have another playtest with a lot of improvements and a glimpse of the open world.
This is an early work-in-progress build, and your feedback is one of the most valuable parts of this process.
