We’ve made a number of improvements based on your feedback to make the demo easier to understand and more enjoyable. Here’s what’s changed
The video is a low resolution screen recording with some background audio, but it gives you an idea of the changes in action. You can also find the full details in the patch notes below.
Added vignette, slow motion, particle effects, and camera shake to car impacts.
Replaced the starting car with a nicer entry level sports car.
The first prop stacking scenario now gives you a fun box pyramid setup and two cameras. This makes getting started clearer and helps spark ideas for your own setups.
Separated the sticker and paint areas to make customization easier to use. Both areas now have labels that appear in painting mode.
Moved the “Add to Wishlist” pop up from the first video to the end of the demo. It no longer interrupts the early experience or makes you think the demo has already ended.
The cannon can no longer fire unless a camera is recording. A warning now lets you know when no camera is recording, so you don’t waste your car.
Simplified the confusion between B (Build Mode) and Q (Exit). You now automatically leave Build Mode when you run out of props or place your last one.
Adjusted the lighting throughout the scene.
We noticed players often turned off the music during streams. Constant upbeat music can get tiring, so we’ve switched to softer ambient sounds and occasional music that plays depending on the situation, instead of looping continuously.
Lowered the paint area’s unlock requirement to level 1. Players whose first video performs poorly can now access it without getting stuck waiting to reach the second stage.
Thanks to everyone who’s tried the demo and shared their feedback! Keep your thoughts and bug reports coming in the Steam discussions.
Have fun
