Hi explorers!

We’re really excited to announce our game what-if, a guided ARG (escape room-like) that spans across dimensions.

“Decipher cryptography, search digital footprints, and retrace scientist Jessie's journey to uncover what happened to her and her assistant.”

The idea of what-if came after playing several online escape room together as a team at Other Tales. Our favourite series was The Isklander Series, if you're looking for cool ARGs/escape room games then make sure to try that out.

We loved experiencing a mystery together and searching the web for solutions while discovering a story. So that's what we created with what-if△

what-if is both a single-player and multiplayer game. The multiplayer version requires one player to share their screen and they will handle the input when you find solutions, any additional players help searching for the answer. One brain works great, but more usually work even better.

We’ve also been wanting to delve into working with different media and this game let us experiment with that and new ways to tell a story.

We’re excited to share more in the upcoming months!
