I've been working on this game for more than two years, so choosing an actual release date feels like a pretty big and exciting moment for me. There is still a lot to do before launch, but now I can finally see the finish line.
Right now, Lost Host has around 40,000 wishlists on Steam, which honestly feels pretty incredible for a game I've been making mostly on my own.
A lot has changed since the previous version:
Improved graphics and visuals
A completely new UI
New camera options
Reworked car controls
New objects to discover and examine
New tasks to help you understand what to do
Lots of optimization and performance improvements
And many smaller changes and fixes
So if you've played the demo before, I would really love for you to give it another try. And if you've never played it — this is a great time to jump in!
I'd love to hear what you think about the new version, especially the new cameras and controls. The game is still being polished, so your feedback is very valuable to me.
I'd love to see that number grow as we get closer to release. If you like what you see, adding Lost Host to your wishlist is one of the easiest ways you can support the project and help the little car find the boy it's looking for ❤️
Thank you so much for following Lost Host, playing the demos, sharing the game, leaving feedback, and simply being here.
