Player feedback told us two things: the tape moved too fast to actually read, and the Quant's future line was doing too much of the thinking. Update 1.0.1 gives you time to think and puts the call back in your hands. It is already live on Steam for Windows and macOS.
Read the tape at your own pace
- 0.5x analysis pace is free from your first run. Press TAB or click the speed button. Same tape, same number of ticks, same Daily Gauntlet seed, twice the reading time.
- Planning pause: click II to freeze the market clock and cooldowns. The chart and tooltips stay available; trading unlocks when you resume.
New: Practice Desk
New to longs, shorts or leverage? Choose LEARN TO TRADE on the strategy screen. Bank $30,000 on a long and $30,000 on a short from a $1M practice fund, then compare the same 2% drop: it costs 2% of equity at 1x and 10% at 5x. No clock, no fees, and your real run and career stay untouched. You can replay it from the results screen any time.
Take another shot
- RETRY THIS STRATEGY takes you straight back to ticker selection with the same class, difficulty and ascension. Daily Gauntlet retries keep the day's seed.
- The results screen now shows net equity after debt, the closing-bell target and exactly how far short you finished, plus a suggestion for your next attempt.
Balance changes and fixes
- The Quant: passive foresight now shows the advertised 6 ticks. A bug had doubled it to 12, which made long/short calls too automatic. With the Six-Screen Rig it is now 11 ticks, not 22. Insider Peek and Tip Line previews are unchanged.
- Zero Commission Day and other no-fee effects now waive both opening and closing fees, including trims.
- Finishing the tutorial now saves. Completing the Practice Desk skips the intro tutorial, and the full tutorial stays under How to Play (?).
- English leverage tooltips now show real explanations, and every language explains that the leverage multiple assumes 100% trade size.
Existing saves, achievements and Trophy Room progress carry over. This update covers English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, German and Brazilian Portuguese.
