I have some exciting news to share today. For some time, I have alluded to big things happening in the background, and I can finally unveil that Medium-Rare Games and Kakehashi Games are teaming up with Raw Fury – the top ranked indie publisher on Metacritic. Together with Raw Fury, we aim to give more players across the world an opportunity to play Algolemeth... or Dungeon Automata as it also will be called!
Announcement #1: Partnering with Raw Fury as a co-publisher!
As part of this new partnership, Algolemeth is getting a new global name outside Japan: Dungeon Automata! As you dungeon crawl through the floors of the Tower of Corruption by automating your party of golems, we believed that the name was very fitting. The game is still going to be called Algolemeth, but primarily used in Japan.
Announcement #2: A new trailer!
We have created a new trailer that aims to convey the core experience of Dungeon Automata and introduce the game to new players around the world!
Announcement #3: A Steam DEMO!
To kick things off, we have just launched our very first playable demo right here on Steam so you can play the start of the game and let us know how you feel about it.
This is the first time the demo has been released online to everyone. For those who have been interested in the game for a long time, I am sorry to have kept you waiting. The extra time did let me build a demo I am satisfied with, but I would like to make it even better based on your feedback. You can find a survey from inside the game, so please play it and send us your thoughts!
All of the music and sound effects were created by Yuzo Koshiro, the composer behind many classic titles, using FM synthesis throughout. You can hear some of it in the demo, so be sure to pay attention to the audio as well!
We have also added gamepad support this time, so please try playing it that way as well and let me know what you think.

Announcement #4: New Social Media channels!
We've also launched new social media channels for our non Japanese speaking audience (although the existing ones will still be around, don't worry!) so you can follow those ones on Twitter, TikTok & BlueSky for updates. We also just launched a dedicated Discord server for the game which you can join here
You will probably see Paige from Raw Fury in the Steam forums and on Discord, she is the new dedicated Community Manager for the game so be sure to say hello!
