Gradanix is out — Season 1 begins

Gradanix is out.

Pick a hero, descend, and see how deep you get before something kills you. When you die, that run is over — the only thing that survives is your name on the board and how far down it says you went.

Out now, 15% off for launch week.

Season 1 — First Descent

Season 1 runs 3 September to 2 December, and every board starts empty today. No runs, no level entries, no world firsts. The first name on each one is up for grabs right now.

Seasons are three months. When one ends, the legendaries and items you're carrying are cleared and the boards reset — your character level, talents, titles, bank and house are yours forever.

What's in it

Seven classes — warrior, paladin, rogue, hunter, mage, priest, warlock, each with their own kit.

Permadeath. One life per run. Depth is the score.

Online co-op and LAN. Descend together, die together. XP is shared evenly, so nobody gets left behind.

An endless dungeon that keeps getting harder, with a boss every seven levels.

Corruption — an opt-in difficulty dial. Crank it for harder enemies and richer rewards. It only ever makes the run worse for you, which is the point.

World firsts. The first player to find each legendary gets the plaque, permanently.

Daily challenge, guilds, a bank, and a house to put your things in.

56 achievements.

Playtest players, read this

Thank you. Seriously — the level-9999 bug, the white trees, the unreadable boss bar, the melee that whiffed: you found all of it, and the game shipped better because you did.

The free Playtest is closed and the old alpha launcher is retired. Playtest progress and achievements were always separate from the full game and don't carry over, so everyone starts Season 1 on the same footing.

Since the Playtest build

Levelling was re-cut. Levels 1–300 play exactly as before. Past that the curve steepens hard, so the level cap is a multi-year climb rather than something a determined grinder clears in one season.

Runaway XP fixed. Characters could hit the cap in about seventy kills. They can't now.

Legendary drops rebalanced — roughly a third of the set used to drop in a single deep run.

Damage and attack-speed stacking capped at +300%, on both the vendor and the drop path.

The developer is off the leaderboards. Dev runs use debug tools and test builds; that's not a fair race, so those runs no longer appear on any board and can't claim world firsts.

Plus the small things that add up: the warrior actually carries his axe head-down, the marksman's scope is on top of the rifle where a scope belongs.

Tell me what breaks

There's a feedback option in-game — it sends the report straight through with your version and log attached, and I read every one. If something is broken, that's the fastest way to get it in front of me.

Good luck down there.

Game update14 Sep 2026v0.3.40 — Patch NotesMelee: reach, hits, and safety Melee classes were losing fights they shouldn't lose. We fixed three things: Attack range increased across the board: Warrior 3.0 → 3.6, Paladin 2.8 → 3.4, Rogue 2.4 → 3.1. Rogue's old range was literally shorter than a Ravager's reach — you could stand still and still get outranged by the thing you were hitting. Fixed a hit-arc bug where standing point-blank on a…Game update12 Sep 2026Patch release 0.3.36The developer can now find a player who is reporting a bug, join their game, and message everyone at once. Because that touches you, here is exactly what the game now sends, what is kept, and for how long.Game update11 Sep 2026Gradanix 0.3.35 — your upgrades stop vanishing, and depth 20 stops being a wallMost of this patch comes from one very good bug report by Abide . Thank you. Your gold upgrades stay bought Levelling up rebuilt your max health from scratch and threw away every health upgrade you'd paid for. Quitting to the menu mid-run dropped your vendor damage and attack-speed buffs too. Both fixed — run buffs and bought health are saved with your character and restored when you return. Jo…
