Steam Sign In and Progression Fixes 73026

Coven: All Powerful · published 31 Jul 2026, 01:06 UTC

All newsPlayers around this dateRead on Steam

A round of behind-the-scenes fixes to Steam sign-in and how your progress loads. If your name or levels were showing up blank, this is the one.

  • Fixed Steam sign-in failing on launch, which left your player name missing and your levels, ranks, and stats stuck at zero or blank
  • Progression now loads correctly again, including account level, sage levels, challenge progress, and match stats
  • The demo and the Early Access build now sign in against their own Steam apps, so your progress always lands on the right profile
  • Sign in now retries on its own if it hits a hiccup, instead of dropping you into a session where nothing saves
  • Removed a fallback that could quietly put you on a temporary guest profile after a failed sign-in, which meant a match of XP could be recorded to an account you would never see again
  • Failed stat submissions no longer flood the log or retry endlessly, so performance stays smooth when the service is having a bad day

No action needed on your side. Restart the game once, and your profile should load as normal.

If your name or progression is still missing after a restart, let us know in Discord with your Steam name and roughly when you launched, and we can trace the session.

Dying while Shadow Cloak was active left the "cloaked" state stuck on forever — every spell and ultimate press for the rest of the match was silently ignored. Cloak state is now fully restored on death, and a round-start safety net guarantees no stuck cast-lockout can ever carry into a new round. · Shadow Cloak no longer quietly dr…Game update23 Aug 2026Coven Update: The Quiet CovensCoven Allegiances · Coven passive perks are disabled for now. Your coven is still part of your identity, but the hidden stat bonuses no longer apply while we rebalance them: Belladonna's +75 max health, Hemlock's faster respawns, Echinacea's heal over time, and Oleander's poison that struck back at attackers. · Coven selection screens are unchanged for now; a UI refresh for allegiances is comin…Game update14 Aug 2026Coven Update: Broom ServiceBot Fixes · Bots respawn at their team's spawn points now (with a tiny offset so they don't stack), instead of scattering to random spots on the map. · Inferno Surge actually surges — bot Pyromystics were laying their whole fire trail standing still; they now rocket forward like the player cast. · Walls rise to full height — bot Stone Walls and Glacial Barriers were coming up half-buried; they…
