The 0.5 update we've been working on for a long time is finally here! This update includes one of the game's most comprehensive content additions. We've made many changes, from new regions to AI, from new events to bug fixes. Here are all the details:
Backrooms AI Overhauled
The AI system in Backrooms has been overhauled from the ground up. You'll now experience a smarter, more unpredictable, and more terrifying encounter. AI behaviors have been improved, making interactions with players more dynamic.
7 New Regions Added
7 new regions across 3 different categories have been added to the game. Each one awaits you with its own unique atmosphere, dangers, and mysteries to discover. For exploration enthusiasts, this update will truly be a feast.
New Curse Item Events
Various new curse item events have been added to the game. Thanks to these events, the in-game experience has become even more unpredictable and exciting. Be careful, every cursed item may come with a price!
BUG FIXES
Some errors detected in the localization system have been fixed
Fixed bugs that caused players to get stuck in certain regions
Fixed a bug in the Haunted House region.
Fixed a visual bug with the fireplace in the Ruins.
With this update, we aimed to take the game's overall experience to the next level. We will continue to bring you new content and improvements going forward.
- We are aware that in some cases, players' voices in voice chat become deeper or higher (pitch shifting). We will fix this issue as soon as possible.
The next Major Update will come to you under the name "Sounds Update," and it will arrive much sooner than this update did! The biggest addition of this update will be a completely revamped sound system. Here's what awaits you in this update:
