hey guys! long time no see, i've recently been working hard on the next update for solace inc, which you can now try for yourself on the prerelease beta branch!
some major changes i should point out:
most of the game has received a huge UI overhaul, so the game looks and feels a lot more polished
added some new recruits
added a new "arena" gamemode where you can make recruits fight each other (if you want)
this build doesn't contain everything i plan on adding yet, the main thing i've been working on for this update is adding a localization framework by moving most of the game's text into external files so that the game can be localized, i've still got some things to add so it's not complete yet
to access the prerelease build, head over to game versions & beta in the game properties and select "prerelease":

you can now unlock a specific cameo recruit instantly by entering in the name of who/where they're from as a promo code (i.e. "Dead Estate" will unlock Cordelia)

Jordan's recruit and dialogue portraits has been replaced with her Solace Inc 2 design

the game's text is now stored in external files in the "Lang" folder which can be used for translations
added new cover art
added background blur effect for certain menus
fixed music cutting out when opening the crate unboxing animation during a mission
fixed music randomly cutting out on the main menu
cameos will no longer appear if you have the 18+ dlc enabled, regardless if 18+ content is toggled
minor bug fixes & balance changes
