It's been a minute. We disappeared into the dev of this update for a while, and we're coming out the other side with Volume 2. Here's everything that went into it.

Extending the Story

Volume 2 picks up with a lot more story. More scenes, more fuzzy choices, more places for things to go sideways. Volume 1 laid the groundwork for this story of confusing connection, and Volume 2 dials up the mess.

That Situationship...

In this part of the story, the reader and Florence will dive headfirst into the confusing situationship at work. No labels, mixed signals, a little bit of "wait, was that a moment, or did I imagine it?" Some giant looming questions from Volume 1 will resolve, but new ones will take their place.

More Content

  • More choices — More chances to say the wrong thing at the wrong time and step right in it.

  • More characters to collect

  • More journal entries to collect

  • More scenes and scenarios

UI and UX Updates

We gave the game a full UI/UX overhaul. Cleaning up navigation, making menus feel less clunky, and, most exciting (for us at least), adapting the game for a future portrait version.

Music and Polish

  • New music — fresh tracks to match the new tone and locations

  • Better controller support — because not everyone wants to play with a mouse, and you shouldn't have to

That's Volume 2 in a nutshell. It's the biggest jump the project has made so far, and we're excited to get it in front of you. More updates soon, and thanks for reading!
