Ahoy crew,

The second demo update is here! This is our biggest content update yet, adding dozens of new relics, new keywords, legendary treasures, richer events, and many quality-of-life improvements.

We’ve also rebalanced pirates, improved accessibility, fixed issues with events, reduced build size by 60%, and polished the overall experience.

Thanks for playing the demo and helping shape the game — your feedback has been incredibly valuable!

New Content

  • ~93 new items (97 → 130): single-turn passive emitters, reactive "on load/move/hit/heal" items, keyword stampers, conditional-power items, target remappers, die-face swappers, and more.

  • New keywords:

    • Spend: Some powerful actions that count Charge/Mark/crowd stacks now consume those stacks after resolving.

    • LoneWolf: Extra damage if no adjacent pirates

    • Warband: Extra damage per adjacent pirates

    • Siege: Excess damage goes to enemy ship

  • 19 new world events (23 → 42), including the Black Market (discounted shop), The Tinkerer (fuse 2 relics into one), Hall of Mirrors (clone a relic), Marooning, sacrifices, new recruits and themed treasures.

  • Richer events: branching choices, curated/bundled treasure, coin-cost options, and new rewards (objects, extra ship cargo).

  • Item bag pages: own more than 12 relics and the bag paginates with arrows.

  • Added Legendary items. Really powerful items you can only draft in certain events. New Accessibility & QoL

  • Unload dice: take back dice you loaded onto a unit before executing (doesn't apply to dice granted by passives or other units).

  • End turn your way: new setting to end turn with a single click instead of hold-to-confirm.

  • Animation speed setting: the on/off toggle is now Slow / Normal / Fast / Very Fast / No Animation, and also scales unit attack animations and your dice roll.Changes

  • Added Global Brightness and Hover Dice Brightness sliders. Your eyes will thank it.

Balance

  • We've given most of the pirates at least a damage dealing action:

    • Black Templar: Now action 6 can cash shields into an attack.

    • Relic Keeper: Last action's shield gains Counter.

    • Shielderer: Last action's shield gains Thorns.

  • Buff to Heal / Drunk:

    • Healer: mid faces now add Holy to the Heal.

    • Drunk status effect: now you only need 3 stacks to activate its effect.

    • Tavern Lady: Some actions target now enemy as well. Making enemy Drunk is cool and useful now!

    • Drunk Master: top face now Spends its stacks instead of self-cleansing.

  • Others:

    • Revolutionary Peasant: Slight buff: top-face attack 3 → 4.

    • Explosive Barrel: HP 5 → 6.

    • Thorns now fully wears off each turn (was 50% decay).

    • Item rebalance: too many to log here, just try it out :)

Fixes

  • "Train a unit" events that reduce weight now actually reduce it.

  • Train a unit" events now correctly increase the right amount of HP. Other:

  • Shops now appear only from island 3 onward, and the final island always has a shop on at least one path. Other node types only appear on islands where they have an eligible event.

  • Treasure and shop events open with a short lore intro.- Prepared a Sailing Map screen with a tease of what's coming in the full release.

  • Reduced Build size 60%

  • Better explanation of Objects and what they do.

Thanks for the support! More updates coming soon!
