A desktop mascot system has arrived, with Shimeji compatibility, along with big improvements to library organization.
Mascots now roam freely across your desktop, climbing walls and crawling along the ceiling.
Shimeji-compatible — bring in existing Shimeji mascots and they work.
On multi-monitor setups, they cross screen edges and move onto adjacent monitors.
Drag a mascot wherever you like, or bring it back to the Hub.
Duplicate a mascot to have several of them on screen at once.
Foot placement now sits correctly on the floor even on high-DPI monitors.
Assets are now sorted into 5 top-level categories you can filter right from the library tabs.
Browse and filter by category in the Workshop as well.
Assign a category to your own assets directly in the editor.
Fixed widgets flickering and interrupting while a fullscreen game is running.
Fixed the Steam relaunch confirmation dialog appearing repeatedly on auto-start.
The Hub now shows up on startup when there are no active mascots.
New online networking API (random room matchmaking, P2P messaging, blocking) — multiplayer mods are now possible.
Mods that don't support wallpaper mode are no longer force-switched into it.
