Alpha 0.1.6 - Eden Is Getting Better Thanks to Your Feedback

Alpha 0.1.6 focuses mainly on improving clarity, making the game more comfortable to play, and addressing the issues that came up most often in your feedback. Eden Universe is built around many interconnected systems, so feedback from people who actually spend time playing the game is incredibly valuable to me. If something feels unclear, poorly explained, inconvenient, or you simply think it could be done better - tell me. It is just as important for me to know which systems work well and which parts you would like to see expanded in the future. Every bug report, suggestion, gameplay video, and discussion helps me look at Eden from the player's perspective, not only from the perspective of someone who already knows every system inside out.

This update changes quite a lot about how the game guides players through quests and cutscenes, so if you played an earlier version, I strongly recommend starting a new adventure from the beginning. The new Quest Log, additional HUD information, improved cutscenes, dialogue bubbles, and further tutorial improvements are best experienced from the start. Eden Universe still has a long way to go, but with every update the foundation becomes stronger. Thank you for the time you spend playing the game and for all the feedback you have shared so far - at this stage of development, it matters more than ever.

Alpha 0.1.6

- Added a quest log for Silver, Gold, Bronze, and Platinum Scrolls, as well as additional activities. It can be opened with the "Q" key.
- Added a large number of quest-design and quest-validation features, together with a reward system.
- Added the ability to skip cutscenes by holding the **Spacebar**.
- Added black cinematic bars during scenes in which a character is moving, so the game no longer gives the false impression that it has frozen.
- Added a separate **Dubbing** volume setting.
- Added dialogue bubbles - it is now clear which character is currently speaking.
- Added a shortcut to the population Inspiration panel. Pressing the "I" key opens a convenient role wheel.
- Added missing information to the HUD at the top of the screen and in the bottom-right corner.
- Added an Encyclopedia to the game, available both from the main menu and under the ESC key. It will be expanded over time.
- Fixed text errors in the Lonely Indigenous quest.
- Fixed a bug with an infinite food source on the map.
- Fixed a bug that allowed a building management panel to be opened while the building was still under construction.
- Fixed interactions with environmental objects during cutscenes - clicking them will no longer accidentally skip dialogue.
- Fixed cutscenes - they now progress automatically, so you no longer need to click through every line of dialogue.
- Egypt has received military units.
- Egyptian villages in the southern part of the map are no longer defenseless - they now have small military groups.
- Fixed bugs in side quests.
- Fixed workshop-related bugs.
- Changed the altar music for the Romans and Celts.
- Reworked the Splendor system. Buildings that are not connected by road now receive only 33% of their full potential value. The road must be connected to the village center, and the building must be located directly next to it.

Thank you to everyone helping test Eden Universe. Start a new adventure, check out the changes, and let me know what still needs improvement.
