Howdy! Version 0.1.23 is out, and the free demo has it too. Most of this update is about the table itself: what you read while you play, what stands in your way, and what the smuggler actually sells you. One callout at a time "Your turn", your score, "Took the lead!" and the opponent's house rule used to fire at the same moment and land right on top of each other. They now wait until the table is clear and come one after another. Anything that is already outdated by then is dropped instead of showing up late. Banners also stay on screen a little longer and have a dark outline, so they no longer slide past on the patterned leather. The cup clears the table After each throw the cup goes back to your hand. While you decide which dice to hold, only your dice are on the table. It comes back for the next roll, and you can still grab its spot and shake. A smuggler's shop that explains itself • The shop now opens right over the table, with its offers as standing cards side by side.
• Hover any artifact die (an offer, one of your own dice or a sell spot) and you see its full effect, its rarity and what it sells for. With a controller, just move the focus onto it.
• Sell a die directly from its spot below "Your Dice".
• The scoreboard preview in the shop is smaller and covers far less of the screen. Opponents • Portraits no longer cut off hats and sit neatly inside their frames. Mad Moni, Blind Otto and Widow Gerda benefit the most.
• During a duel, house rules are shown as a short version. The full rule is still in the Codex and on the Notice Board.
• Between two duels, the campaign map pins the next wanted poster to the wall. Dice and feel • Every artifact die has its own sound, and the artifact bar reacts to the die that just did something.
• The pocket swap now visibly flies between the table and your pocket.
• Scores you could take right now blink on your scorecard.
• Buttons, tabs and panels keep the same size in all nine languages.
• Fixed: Second Chance gave you four rolls but only showed three roll markers. In the full game (closed playtest) • Ranked 2v2 with its own ladder. Queue together with a friend or on your own; bots fill empty seats.
• Groups: invite a friend, chat, and queue up together.
• Multiplayer is split into Casual (no rank) and Ranked.
• Chaos is now the sixth mode in the mode cylinder.
• The Battle Pass window is wider in landscape. Thanks for playing the demo! If you enjoy it, a wishlist helps a lot, and every bit of feedback in the discussions ends up on the table. Wishlist Yathsel on Steam:
