Hello. I am Brett, Designer of Dungeons & Dynasties.I am incredibly excited to finally share it with a wider audience. What started as a small passion project has grown into something far bigger than I expected, thanks to everyone who has played, tested, supported and talked about the game along the way.The Steam demo goes live on 14 September at 08:00 UK time.It is not a slice of a tutorial. It is the game, and it gives you two full years of it. You found an adventuring guild and choose where in a pyramid of seventy-two to begin, from a swamp-shack hall at the very bottom to a seat among the contenders. You send your heroes into a dungeon every fixture and find out which of them come back. You hire, you train, and you bury people. When the two years are up the clock stops and the demo tells you so, but your hall, your roster and your Chronicle all remain. Your guild carries over into Early Access. The game is still growing and it will not play exactly as it does today, but the hall you build now is the hall you keep.Everything that happens to your guild is written down from your first delve onward: who fell, where, and what was said about them afterwards. Nothing in it is scripted. It is your hall's own record.I will also be taking part in the Steam Party-Based RPG Fest, which begins at 18:00 UK time on the same day, 14 September. The demo is playable in English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese, and it can be played with a screen reader. If you have never played Dungeons & Dynasties before, this is your chance to step into the realm, build your guild, recruit your heroes and see what happens when you send them into a delve. And if you have already played it elsewhere, thank you for being part of the journey so far. There is a lot more still to come.I hope you will give the demo a try. I read everything players send me, so tell me what you think.Brett
