We had a review that mentioned storage boxes would be a great addition, and we really loved the idea! So now every safehouse has a storage bin where you can stash your items.
To keep it simple, all of the bins share the same inventory. That means you can store something at one safehouse and access it from any other, so you never have to make a trip to a specific safehouse just to grab an item.
Previously any mods and clothing you weren't wearing stayed safely in your inventory if you died. With this storage system, you can stash your important gear before heading out to explore. Now, only the items actually equipped to your character stay with you, while the rest are left behind with your dropped inventory.
So if you want to keep something safe, stash it before you head out. And if you don't make it back, getting to your dropped inventory becomes even more important!
