Super Video Golf 1.22.2 Update Released

Hello golf fans!

I am happy to say that the latest update for Super Video Golf has now been released. This update was intended to bring support for the upcoming Craewall DLC (which it does!) which is why it doesn’t get a new version number - however there are a few significant additions and fixes included too, so let’s take a look!

If you’ve seen the previous news posts you’ll know that one of the big changes is that you can now play the DLC courses as part of the Career League. If you have the Adventurer DLC in your library you only need to add the free Putt-stop in Paradise DLC to unlock a new Career league, named the Sun & Moon DLC League.

Once the Craewall DLC is available you’ll also be able to add that to your library and it’ll unlock the Craewall Competition League. Until then you can wishlist it here:

All DLCs are also available in Career Tournaments, when creating a custom tournament to play.

There are some quality of life updates too, particularly with the UI. You’ll notice that the centre mark of the power bar and the range indicator are now a different colour, to help line up those shots at a glance.

You’ll also find that when putting it’s now possible to cycle through the different putting ranges manually, using the previous and next club buttons. By default the game will select what it thinks is the best-guess range for your current shot, but now it’s possible to manually tweak it. Oh and there’s a new 25m range available for the putter, so look out for that!

To accompany this the in-game guide and the Steam guide have both been updated to reflect the changes.

There are a few new customisation options available as well. From the Options menu it’s possible to enable automatic screenshots, taken when scoring a hole-in-one or an albatross. You can disable random weather when playing a Quick Play round, and also disable the daily streak notification if you wish.

As this is a DLC-centric update I’ve added a new online league, to accompany the Global Monthly league. The new league acts the same as the Global Monthly league, however it’s extended to cover the scores of installed DLCs, enabling players who have invested in the DLC to compete with other player’s scores on the extra courses. Please note, however, it can’t actually be completed just yet, until the Craewall DLC is released (soon!) 😅

• Fixed - Menu inputs could get latched when opening the on-screen keyboard in desktop mode

• Fixed - Ball spin icon can no longer be opened when power bar is active

• Fixed - On-screen keyboard in Desktop mode appeared invisible at 4k resolution when Windows scaling was greater than 100%

• Updated - Workshop items are now loaded directly from Steam installation directory instead of a temporary one

• Updated - Extended the maximum range of the putter for larger greens

• Updated - DLC courses are now playable as a Career League

• Updated - Options menu input descriptions make it clearer mouse is also supported

• Updated - Centre mark of range indicator is now highlighted

• Updated - The tutorial and How To Play guides now include information about the newest features

• Added - Monthly personal best is displayed for each course in the lobby

• Added - Ready icons are displayed each hole in multiplayer

• Added - Pressing 6 resets the camera rotation when not in Freecam

• Added - Max putting range can now be cycled via prev/next club button

• Added - Option to hide window border

• Added - Option to automatically screenshot holes in one and Albatrosses

• Added - Option to disable random weather in quick play mode

• Added - Option to disable daily streak

• Added - Support for Craewall County DLC

• Added - Extended monthly league which includes DLC courses
