Hey there, Fog walkers!

You asked, and we listened! Patch #11 has arrived for the Demo, and it's directly built around the feedback, reports, and suggestions you’ve shared with us both on Steam and Discord.

There are a lot of sweet fixes, but before we dive into the full list, here are some of the biggest changes:

• The demo build size has been reduced from 55 GB to 24.7 GB. No more long downloads before you play the game

• Item drops have been rebalanced, along with the number of active loot containers. Less annoying interactions. More valuable loot

• Arachnophobia Mode has been added, replacing spiders with other enemies. We respect your mental health!

And that’s only the beginning. Here’s a snippet of everything else included in Patch #11:

GAMEPLAY

Exploration, looting, and combat should now feel more responsive and consistent:

• Mutants and dogs can now climb over fences.

• Loot interactions are now instant.

• Major rework of the enemy spawning system has been made.

• Reduced the number of active loot containers.

• Weapon weight now affects rotation responsiveness.

• Weapon weight now affects movement speed.

• Improved enemy reactions and hearing.

• Rebalanced item drop chances.

INPUT & UI

More control over your inputs and clearer information when managing your character and loadout:

• Updated the Quest Journal UI design.

• The F key can now be rebound (finally!)

• Added bindings for switching to the next and previous weapons.

• The mouse wheel now slightly zooms the camera in and out for better control.

• Added numerical values to weapon comparison hints.

• Added aim assist for gamepads.

PERFORMANCE & SYSTEM

A round of technical improvements to make the demo smaller, smoother, and sharper:

• Reduced the demo build size from 55 GB to 22 GB (you know it already, but it's worth bragging about it one more time ^^' )

• Rendering now looks crisper and more detailed.

• Added shader warm-up to help prevent stuttering.

• HDR is now enabled automatically when supported and can be disabled in the settings.

• Added an option to disable the compass.

CZECH LOCALISATION

DDoD is now available in Czech!

We’re happy to welcome more Czech-speaking players into the Fog. If you notice any localisation issues while playing, please let us know and your feedback will help us improve the translation.

DISCORD INTEGRATION

• Added Discord integration, making it easier to show off your time in DDoD, brag about your adventures, and invite your friends to join you in the Fog. BTW, Join us there!

FIXES

A long list of reported issues has been addressed. Thank you for helping us track these down!

• Fixed incoming damage being ignored during melee attacks.

• Fixed several issues with the Loadout UI.

• Fixed the Molotov fire zone radius.

• Unavailable weapon attachments are now hidden.

• Fixed the melee combo ability getting stuck and blocking consumable use.
