Demo Release Devlog

First of all, welcome to the Erebus-9 demo and thank you to all those who have taken the time to play so far!

This first snapshot of level one is designed to introduce you all to the world of Erebus-9 and Daedalus Industries. You’ll meet the protagonist, Daniel Taylor, take your first steps through the Erebus-9’s abandoned hangar, and uncover moments of life aboard for the ill-fated crew.

We are keen to show the demo starting from this early stage of development as we want to give you all the chance to help shape the game as it grows. We’re interested to see how everyone engages with the game to ensure all the core systems feel intuitive as we scale up. Including players from the start is important to us as a team and provides the most helpful feedback while we are in this flexible, early stage of development.

While we have a lot of changes and updates already scheduled for the demo, we’re looking to refine the tone we establish from the outset, as the station expands and Daniel’s chances of escape grow ever more bleak. We will be focusing on any issues that may arise over the coming weeks as a priority.

If you’d like to support us by offering feedback on the demo or notifying us of any bugs, please join our Discord where you can chat to our dev team and join our community! If you’re interested in learning more about Centaurus Software or our current development team, check out our website and team page.

Thank again for playing,

Centaurus Software Dev Team
