It's been a busy few weeks behind the scenes here at the Plaza, and we thought it was high time we threw open the doors to the workshop and showed you what we've been up to! Some of this is shiny and brand new and some of it is very much still in the oven. Let's dive in!
There's a new face wandering the Plaza! Say hello to Pudding, a cute pup who loves to party and is all about sharing good vibes only 🎉
We've got a brand new character design to show off, straight from the wonderfully talented StefScribbes. Everyone, meet Skully! Skully is still fresh off the sketchpad, so we're not spilling too many beans just yet about who they are or what they get up to around the Plaza. But we're already a little bit obsessed, and we think you will be too!
The Plaza has some brand new tunes. We've been adding fresh tracks and sound bites to set the mood as you build, decorate and potter about town. This includes a brand new main menu soundtrack!
This one's firmly in the "testing things out" pile! The team has been playing around with fresh ideas for shops in the Plaza: what they could sell, how they could look, and how they fit into the flow of your town. Here are two design styles for a shop we are considering:
As with anything experimental, some of these ideas might make it into the game, some might change a lot along the way, and some might quietly retire to the ideas cupboard. That's all part of the fun! We'll share more once things start to take shape.
