After the first playtest, a lot of you told us the AI-generated artifact icons didn't belong in this game. You were right. Every one of them is gone. The icons were the most visible case, so let's start there.
Our artists redrew them by hand for Playtest 2. While we were in there, we unified the aura colors to match rarity tiers — so you can now read an artifact's grade from the icon alone, without stopping to check the tooltip.
Before (AI made)
After (Artist made)
We couldn't finish every icon in time for this test. A handful are temporary artist-made placeholders, and they'll be replaced with final art in stages after the test. Nothing you see in this build is AI-generated.

Artifact icons were the most visible case, but it goes for everything else too — the art and in-game assets you see are made by our team, start to finish. We do still use AI on the back end of development — coding support and similar work — but it doesn't make what you look at.
Thanks to everyone who spoke up. Take a look at the new icons in this test, and if there's anything else you want to see improved — AI-related or not — tell us. We're reading.
A lot of you asked for this after the first playtest, and it's in. Playtest 2 supports 10 languages:
English
한국어 (Korean)
简体中文 (Simplified Chinese)
繁體中文 (Traditional Chinese)
日本語 (Japanese)
Deutsch (German)
Français (French)
Русский (Russian)
Português (Brasil)
Español (Spanish)
You can switch languages from process below: Options >
Gameplay> Language
We wanted you to be able to play in your own language for this test, so we prioritized getting the languages in over getting them perfect. Expect some awkward lines, mistranslations, and text that doesn't fit its UI box. We know. We're continuing to refine all 10 throughout the test and beyond.
Bug reports, UI breakage, and translation errors are all welcome. Please post them in the #bug channel on our Discord with a screenshot — and for translation issues, let us know which language you were playing in. Screenshots make a huge difference on our end.
And if you want to know when the next playtest and the full release happen, hit the Wishlist and Follow button on our store page — it's the fastest way for us to reach you.
See you on the 17th.
