Vector Surge Update 1.0.3 — Prestige & Apex Vaults

Update 1.0.3 improves late-game Universe progression and makes important Hangar actions easier to find.

APEX SIGNAL VAULT

Pilots carrying large credit reserves can now access the new Apex Signal Vault.

• Costs 7,500 credits

• Awards three unique Epic-or-better enhancements

• Each reward receives three additional enhancement levels

• Offers an increased chance of recovering the legendary Apotheosis hull

• Apex previews now display only Epic and Legendary signals

The Hangar’s vault command has been renamed VAULTS, opening a clearer choice between the standard Signal Vault and the new Apex Vault.

CLEARER PRESTIGE ROUTING

Prestige should no longer be hidden behind unfamiliar Hangar navigation.

• A large, flashing PRESTIGE READY command appears when the equipped hull qualifies

• Selecting it opens Universe Command directly

• The Reforge Hull command now flashes while prestige is available

• Prestige indicators respect the Flash Intensity accessibility setting

HANGAR IMPROVEMENTS

• ]The Universe launch command is now brighter, larger and renamed START UNIVERSE

• Vault purchase information has been reorganised for easier comparison

• Improved controller navigation through new Hangar actions

SALVAGE TRACTOR FIX

Salvage will no longer lose attraction when a fast ship escapes its original collection radius.

Once salvage enters tractor range, it remains locked onto the nearest collector and accelerates until it is secured.
