Get Ready – The Risen Survival is Coming!

After years of development, The Risen Survival is getting closer to release.

I wanted to share the vision behind the game and what I'm currently focused on.

From the beginning, my goal was never to create just another zombie survival game. I want to build a world that feels alive, dangerous, and unpredictable where every trip outside your base can become a story worth telling.

A World That Never Feels Safe

The world isn't just a map full of loot.

Explore abandoned towns, dense forests, factories, military compounds, and hidden locations as you search for resources, uncover secrets, and face unexpected dangers. No matter how prepared you think you are, the world should always have something waiting around the next corner.

Survival is about adapting—not memorizing.

Zombies That Matter

The infected aren't just obstacles.

They are the heart of the experience.

You'll encounter different zombie types, each with unique behaviors and threats. But every zombie you kill also fuels something far more dangerous.

Every kill feeds the rage of the undead. When that rage reaches its limit, Purge Night begins.

The horde will descend on your base, tearing through defenses and forcing you to fight for survival. Every expedition, every bullet fired, and every zombie killed brings that moment closer.

I want Purge Night to be something players both anticipate and fear.

Build, Craft & Survive

Survival is about much more than combat.

Gather resources, salvage materials, unlock new equipment, craft powerful gear, claim land, and build a fortress capable of withstanding both the infected and the unforgiving world around you.

Whether you enjoy exploring, building, looting, trading, or surviving with friends, there will always be something to work toward.

Multiplayer Your Way

Play however you like:

  • Official servers

  • Community servers

  • Dedicated self-hosted servers

  • Private worlds with friends

  • LAN multiplayer

Server owners can customize a wide range of gameplay settings, creating anything from a relaxed co-op experience to a brutal survival challenge.

A Solo Developer Journey

The Risen Survival has been developed by a solo developer over the past several years. Progress hasn't always been fast, but every update brings the game closer to the experience I've envisioned from the beginning.

There's still plenty of work ahead, and I'll continue improving the game based on community feedback before and after release.

Thank you to everyone who has wishlisted the game, shared feedback, or followed its development so far.

Your support genuinely keeps this project moving forward.

See you in the apocalypse.
