Hey Wanderers,

It’s been hard to keep this one under wraps, but we’re pleased to announce that Escape the Backrooms is now available on Nintendo Switch 2 consoles!

This version, alongside May’s release on Xbox Series X|S, PC and Xbox Game Pass, and PlayStation 5, has complete content parity with the Steam PC version, and also allows for cross-platform matchmaking. Please be aware you will need a Nintendo Switch Online account to play online with friends.

We’ve already seen over three million new players across all platforms, meaning so many more people to trick help escape. We’re so excited to welcome in new Wanderers on Nintendo.

Escape the Backrooms is now available on Xbox Series X|S, PC and Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. We’d love to hear all about your first escape teaming up with console buddies over on our Discord and TikTok account.
