The doors to the Kitch Witch Culinary Clinic are open! We're excited to invite you to try an early version of Kitch Witch as part of Steam Cooking Fest. It's available NOW, early as a surprise!

This demo is an early look at the game we're building. Some features are still in development, some things may change, and you might encounter a few bugs and some parts might be rough around the edges. We're a small, Indigenous-led indie studio based in rural Saskatchewan, and every playthrough helps us learn what is working and what we can improve as we continue developing the game.

What's New In the Demo
We've been working really hard after some fantastic showcase and convention feedback from over the summer, and we have some really exciting new stuff added to the game! Here is a list of what you can find in this demo:
Opening cut scene
Early tea-making tutorial (brand new mini game!)
Brand new concept character portraits- these are not final, but we wanted to include them to give you an idea of what they will look like!
Bedroom exploration and new furniture and secrets
Crystal Resonance Tube (CRT)- A fantasy TV that includes gameplay footage from our game dev friend's games!
Cat!
Cauldron mini-game
One full treatable character
Temporary diagnostic inspection- this is just text for now, eventually you will be able to actually inspect the patient's body for signs of illness and injuries!
Forest area to explore
Greenhouse- this is just a sneak peak, not yet functional

Known Issues
We have a few known bugs that we are currently busy fixing, but you might encounter them while you play.
When the teen version of the playable character lays down in bed for the night, her dress seems to not want to come with her, making her look a bit spiky lol
Water falls through the kettle when filling it
Selecting objects during the tutorial can be a bit finnicky at times
You are not able to save your progress in this build- it's meant to be a little snippet of what is to come, so no saving necessary for now.
