Week Four: New Player Town Shops, Grand Expeditions, and Endless Challenges
Week four brings two new Player Town services, our first Grand Expedition, and two endless modes for your party to take on.
New Player Town Shops and Services
Bruce Hayden’s Training Grounds lets you train up to three reserve recruits while you play, helping them catch up with your main character.
Vivian Skybound’s Bounty Merchant offers exclusive weapons, armour, accessories, and tools. Earn Bounty Marks in Grand Expeditions, Pinnacles, the Endless Tower, and the Endless Dungeon, then spend them on her rotating stock.
Grand Expedition: Moonfen Salvage Reach
Explore a new region of wetlands and memorial ruins, with new enemies, fishing, scrounging, and a chance to find Exalted equipment with bonus tiers.
Grand Expedition passes support one-, two-, four-, and eight-hour runs, with up to eight modifiers revealed only after entry. There is no early return, and recruits can die permanently. Bring food, potions, and a party ready to last until extraction.
The Endless Tower
Unlocked at main-character level 50, the Tower sends your party through procedurally generated floors themed around the eight expedition worlds. Clear enemies, defeat bosses, collect treasure, and ascend automatically. Enemy levels stay within your chosen range, making the Tower a place to hunt for equipment and aurels while training abilities and proficiencies rather than character levels.
The Endless Dungeon
Unlocked at main-character level 100, the Dungeon takes you into procedurally generated caves with Normal, Hard, and Hell difficulties. Every floor has a boss, every tenth floor brings a Guardian, and enemy levels rise as you descend. Dungeon activity also grants 50% more ability and proficiency experience.
Both endless modes now include themed decorations, end-of-run summaries, and bonus Bounty Marks for cleared floors and defeated Guardians. A defeated party is rescued alive, with earned rewards retained.
Ten-Day Steam Sale Starts September 17
