Update 2.41.0: New Back Modules

Granvir · published 24 Jul 2026, 14:02 UTC · build 24290947

All newsPlayers around this dateRead on Steam

This week's update adds a batch of 12 back modules across all 4 tiers aiming to round out back part options beyond weaponry. The Meteor Boosters provide high speed forward mobility, the Cooling Fins provide a simple cooling boost and the Guardians provide a full coverage defensive barrier. The boosters should be a helpful tool in completing a melee focused build using ports that previously couldn't provide the required mobility.

A big batch of campaign adjustments are also included in this update. The new brokers provide a way to invest further in your strategy with better access to ammunition and more. Resistance support and caches have also been adjusted to contain both ammunition and field sinterers. The additional field sinterers should help builds that don't rely on ammunition to stay in the fight.

2.41.0

Major Features

  • Added the SJ Meteor Boosters, a full tier series of twin back mounted modules that provide a fast forward only continuous boost that is more efficient when sustained and provides a boost to melee damage while active.

  • Added the CF Cooling Fins, a full tier series of back mounted modules that increase cooling rate.

  • Added the BV Guardians, a full tier series of back mounted barriers. Compared to special module barriers, back mounted barriers are heavier but more heat efficient.

  • Added 4 new recruitable brokers each to a specific region in Millennium Horizon.

    • Added the Black Market Broker to Forest Regions. The Black Market Broker allows you to access the black market even when your threat level is too high.

    • Added the Munitions Market Broker to Light Industry Regions. The Munitions Market Broker doubles the stock of the munitions vendor with variably priced ammunition.

    • Added the Scrap Broker to Canyons Regions. The Scrap Broker increases the amount of credits received when scrapping parts.

    • Added the Repair Broker to Farmlands Regions. The Repair Broker reduces the cost of repairing parts.

Minor Features

  • Reduced the durability of torsos with back ports to mildly compensate for their higher utility. Each back port reduces durability by 5%.

  • Added a small cooling rate boost to the LZ01 Severance.

  • Added a tier 4 variant of the LZ01 Severance.

  • Added escalation reduction to the Resistance Air Support and Artillery Support projects in Millennium Horizon.

  • Added a new project to Millennium Front that reduces escalation by 4. Completing this project requires reaching 400 reputation with Sector 4.

  • Added a 50% recovery boost to repair consumables for the Engineer.

  • Added a 50% scrap credit boost to the Scavenger.

  • Added 2 extra cargo space to the Scavenger.

  • Updated the Resistance Ace description to include their 1.5x bounty boost.

  • Reworked Zero Front and Millennium Horizon resistance support to contain 2 item choices and 3 ammo choices instead of 3 item choices.

  • Removed the fixed legs, reactor, gun choices from the Millennium Horizon's first resistance support pick pool and changed it to match later resistance support options.

  • Added field sinterers to resistance supply cache choices in Millennium Horizon and Zero Front.

  • Added field sinterers to resistance support in Millennium Front.

  • The weapons and components in Millennium Front weapon and component stockpiles will roll slightly above the loot level.

  • Added difficulty, potential and consistency stats to pilots. Difficulty represents how hard it is to utilize their benefits. Potential represents how much power over the baseline the benefits' grant. Consistency represents the benefits' ability to mitigate randomness.

  • Increased the dash cooldown for non-boss enemy Granvirs.

  • Increased the cost of repairs in Millennium Horizon by 50%. Combined with the new repair broker the cost of repairs will be 75% of the previous value.

  • Changed the tank hitbox and crush zone to no longer be solid but apply a massive slow when crushed similar to the tall coastline trees.

  • Updated weapon parry moves to be labelled as such in the control list.

Fixes

  • Fixed squadron objectives not appearing in the points of interest list in Millennium Front.

  • Fixed the anti-air squadron appearing in the points of interest list before being discovered in Millennium Front.

  • Fixed Super Weapon 0 and 01 attempting to kick when enemies were nearby instead of directly in front.

  • Fixed beam weapons not showing hit markers.

  • Fixed some small enemies becoming unable to move when shield bearing enemies die near them.

  • Fixed shields not blocking AoE damage.
