The free Pocket Dynasty demo is now available on Steam. Choose your club, prepare your starters, and take the sideline for one complete game—with unlimited rematches.
Version 1.31.9 brings the latest Matchday presentation improvements into the demo, from player portraits in big moments to a more consistent overtime broadcast.
What can you play in the demo?
- Coach one complete game with five-minute quarters.
- Choose either showcase club, set your starters, and try one player upgrade.
- Pick from ten offensive playbooks and a twenty-play offensive call sheet.
- Call the plays yourself or delegate to your coordinators.
- Make halftime adjustments and review the result through Gridiron Live.
- Play again as often as you like. Each rematch resets the teams, and demo saves are separate from the full game.
Bigger moments, clearer presentation
Player-specific celebrations now display the actual player's portrait. Touchdowns, first downs, big plays, penalties, and milestones use a consistent broadcast frame, with centered headings and result text kept below the action.
We've also tightened animation texture boundaries to prevent fragments of neighboring frames appearing around players, coaches, and cheerleaders. Player portraits have a cleaner finish, with the corner status dots removed.
Overtime now has an illustrated referee coin toss and a team victory celebration that match the rest of Matchday. You can skip to the coin-toss result without changing the outcome.
Also updated in the full game
The full franchise game remains Coming Soon. Its latest development build includes refreshed championship trophies and season honors, including Offensive and Defensive Coordinator of the Year. Coordinator awards are decided at the end of the regular season and preserve the team's season statistics in the award information.
The Grand Gridiron trophy now carries the inscription Grand Gridiron Champions. These season and championship features belong to the full game; the demo is a single-game showcase.
