Can Collector Simulator · published

Hi collectors! This update adds more ways to improve your carrying capacity, clearer guidance through the demo, and new settings and recovery options to make cleaning up more comfortable.
Added a new Body section to the phone's upgrade menu, bringing together area stomping and carrying capacity upgrades.
Body capacity adds 3 extra inventory slots from the start and can be upgraded to 6, 9, or 12 extra slots. These stack with backpack upgrades, giving you 15 starting slots and up to 60 fully upgraded slots.
Area stomping now works while using your hands, the reacher grabber, or the magnet. Stomping with the magnet equipped won't interrupt cans already being attracted.
Updated shop objectives and markers to guide you inside to clean up, then to the shopkeeper to donate $50 and reopen the shop.
Added a follow-up objective for buying your first tool or backpack from the shop's wall displays. Players who already own one don't need to buy another to complete it.
Added a contextual reminder to reveal the remaining cans when your current area reaches 95% completion. The reveal feature is still available at any time, and using it early completes the reminder automatically.
Updated reveal prompts with keyboard and controller button icons, including right-stick press.
Added a one-time thank-you message at 97% overall cleanup progress, with options to wishlist the full game or keep playing and finish cleaning.
Reorganized settings into General, Graphics, Audio, and Controls tabs, with a separate reset option for each page.
Added resolution, window mode, quality, VSync, frame-rate limit, and field-of-view options. Resolution and window-mode changes revert after 15 seconds unless confirmed.
Added two selectable crosshair styles and a choice of blonde or red hair for the shopkeeper.
Reduced controller look speed at the default sensitivity and fixed the sensitivity slider incorrectly clamping values above 1.0.
Added pause-menu recovery options for your character and loose cans that have fallen underground or outside their assigned area. Both actions ask for confirmation and preserve your progress; character recovery also keeps your carried items.
Added automatic character recovery after falling below the map.
Improved compressed-can appearance during animation, save loading, and transitions between nearby and distant models.
Fixed overlap between the money display and area progress panel on wider screens.
Updated localized text for the new settings, upgrades, and tutorial prompts.
Thanks for playing and sharing your feedback! The demo is still in development, and your reports help shape the next update.
