✅ Important Notice: Welcome to v0.5.2! Thank you for your continued support! This update brings massive changes to the game's immersion. We’ve overhauled the landscape, introduced a fully dynamic weather system, and started adding completely new locations for you to explore!
⛈️ Dynamic Weather & Immersion
Dynamic Weather System Activated: The world now features a fully functional, changing weather cycle! Your current weather is now saved when you exit the game, meaning you will pick up exactly where you left off. (Snow has been excluded to perfectly fit the environment's natural climate).
Wind Dynamics: The environment is alive! Trees and plants now physically react to the wind and sway heavily during storms.
Interactive Sunflowers: As a first step towards fully interactive foliage, sunflowers now react to your character and make rustling sounds when you move through them!
🗺️ World & Landscape Overhaul
New Areas (Work in Progress): The Airport, Fields, and Barn have been added to the map! (Note: These are still under construction with terrain and buildings; dinosaurs will be added to these areas soon).
Enhanced Terrain: We have completely overhauled how the ground and terrain look, giving the entire landscape a much more natural and realistic feel.
Improved Distant Views: Fixed an issue where the distant mountains loaded too late and looked muddy. The horizon is now sharp and beautiful!
Road Fixes: Fixed floating roads that were not correctly aligned with the ground.
Smoother Nature: Fixed visual issues where plants and trees would abruptly "snap" or pop into better quality as you walked towards them.
🎧 Audio Improvements
Dynamic Environmental Audio: The forest ambiance is now directly linked to the weather. Ambient sounds (like birds) will naturally fade out when a heavy storm rolls in, giving way to the sound of rain and wind.
Main Menu: Reduced the volume of the thunderstorm in the main menu for a more pleasant start to your game.
