Today we released Lily Company's new game, A Dreaming Ladybug, on Steam!
We wanted everyone who played Observation Daruma Log to be the first to hear about it. Thank you so much for watching over your darumas.
A Dreaming Ladybug is a miniature-garden game where you place flowers, breed ladybugs, and shape the ecosystem of a small garden.
When the colors or numbers of the five ladybugs gathered in the black moon line up, you score. Arrange your flowers and raise your swarm so that happy accidents become more and more likely.
But breed too many, and the garden collapses.
"A slot game where you cultivate chance. But grow it too far, and it breaks."
Watching darumas multiply in a dish and escaping before the facility fell apart: that feeling of watching over something, holding back from overgrowing it, and knowing when to leave carries straight into this game. The dish becomes a small garden, the darumas become a swarm of ladybugs, and this time, every five ladybugs that reach the moon spin the reels.
