Hello everyone, this is Lunarium Game Studio, the development team behind Lunarium.
Since the game launched, we have received a great deal of support and encouragement from players, as well as many thoughtful reports and suggestions regarding various issues. These feedbacks have been extremely valuable in helping us improve the game. Thank you so much to everyone who has taken the time to share their thoughts with us.
We understand that there are still many areas where Lunarium needs improvement. Moving forward, we will continue working on updates and improvements according to our plans.
Here, we would like to briefly summarize some of the more important updates since launch and share our upcoming plans with you.
We sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding, as well as those who took the time to report issues they encountered.
There are still many items remaining on our internal task list, and we will continue investigating and fixing them one by one.
Compared to the performance at launch, the game has already seen some improvements.
However, we know the current state is still far from where we want it to be. We will continue researching further optimization methods and do our best to provide a smoother experience across different devices.
Even before launch, we received feedback from many players regarding the game’s controls and movement feel. We made several adjustments before release, but they still did not fully meet our expectations.
After launch, we made another significant round of adjustments. Some players have already shared that the controls feel much better after these changes.
We will continue refining and improving the overall gameplay feel in future updates.
When the game first launched, Story Mode difficulty was mainly adjusted through numerical changes.
However, after observing player experiences, we realized that simply lowering enemy stats could not provide a satisfying experience for players who are less familiar with action games. It only made encounters longer and allowed players to slowly overcome challenges through attrition, which was not the experience we intended.
In later updates, we have increased the timing windows for Perfect Parry and Perfect Dodge in Story Mode. Our goal is to allow players who are less experienced with action games to enjoy combat that feels more interactive and visually satisfying.
If you previously felt that Story Mode did not provide the experience you expected, we hope you will give it another try.
Many players have shared feedback regarding inconsistent difficulty pacing during the mid and late game. This is an issue we have been paying close attention to.
Starting this week, we will continue testing and adjusting enemy values, encounters, and combat pacing in these sections, aiming to create a smoother overall experience within the current game framework.
Due to the limited development time near the end of production, the English and Japanese localizations were released without enough time for thorough proofreading and polishing. As a result, there are still many mistakes and areas that need refinement.
Our localization partners have now completed a comprehensive review and proofreading process. We will release a localization quality update this week, along with a separate announcement.
We will continue improving and expanding Lunarium. Currently planned features include:
Continued performance improvements
A map showing all collectible locations
Enemy encyclopedia
Boss Rush mode
Once our plans become more finalized, we will share a more detailed roadmap.
Finally, we would like to once again thank every player for supporting Lunarium.
Seeing players experience our game, discovering something unique within it, and witnessing the connections formed between our game and players — as well as between players themselves — has been the most touching part of this journey after launch.
Everyone on our development team is also a passionate gamer, and we completely understand the frustration of encountering issues or disappointing design choices during a playthrough.
Although we have received a lot of encouragement for our active post-launch updates, the truth is that these issues should have been thoroughly tested and improved before release.
To every player who had a disappointing experience because of these problems, we sincerely apologize.
We care deeply about Lunarium, and we promise that we will continue updating and improving the game until it reaches a level that we can be truly proud of.
Thank you for your continued support, and please look forward to future updates!
