Early Access Launch

DREGS · published 18 Jul 2026, 00:17 UTC

Nine months ago, T-Minus Zero Entertainment was shut down by our former parent company. We weren’t ready to walk away so we rebooted the studio as a small independent team and immediately began building something new.

DREGS is that game.

Launching into Early Access is only the beginning for DREGS. We have plenty of ideas for where the game can go, but we also want its future to be shaped by the people actually playing it. Your feedback will help us decide what needs attention, what should be expanded, and which parts of the experience create the moments worth building around.

We’re a small team, so every review, discussion post, bug report, gameplay clip, stream, and message genuinely matters. Tell us what you love, what frustrates you, what made your crew laugh, and what you want to see next. We’ll be listening, learning, fixing, balancing, and working to make DREGS better with every update.

Thank you for giving us a chance.

The most consistent answer was also the most useful: DREGS looked fun, but its overall structure felt too s…In-game event30 Jul 2026DREGS Update: Friendship, Failure, and HyperionHappy International Friendship Day! To celebrate the bonds that hold a crew together we’re dropping our first major update. In DREGS friendship means blame, betrayals, and spectacular crew fails. Since launch, you’ve sent us a mountain of feedback, bug reports, clips, and suspiciously conflicting stories about what happened to your crewmates. We’ve been working through all of it. This update in…Community28 Jul 2026The Map Is a Puzzle: How Metroidvania Inspired DREGSDREGS is a co-op horror game, not a traditional metroidvania, metroidvania design had a major influence on how we built levels. Particularly the idea that exploring a map should be about more than moving from one room to the next. We wanted every map in DREGS to be something players gradually learn, unlock, and eventually master. What Is a Metroidvania? The term “metroidvania” comes from Metroi…
