Some players have recently reported antivirus false positives. Here’s our unified reply:
One-line takeaway: this is a false positive — not malware. We’re working with AV vendors to clear it.
Why you can trust the build: official Steam distribution + AppID, and we’ve already submitted false-positive reports to Microsoft Defender (and Bitdefender).
Play right away: add the game install folder to your AV exclusions (Defender: Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings → Exclusions → Add or remove exclusions → Add an exclusion → Folder → select the DonEatFish install directory).
